4 steps to apply eyelash clusters like a pro
i.e. 4 steps (and approximately 10 minutes) to cluster lash perfection
Step 1 – Do the prep
Start by making sure your lashes are clean and mascara-free.
Then, add a layer of adhesive.
Designed with flexi-brush technology, the ‘bond’ side of your 2in1 applicator allows you to apply this with ultimate precision. It’s just like putting on mascara. From the root to the tip, move the brush through your natural lashes – until you’re happy they’re lightly and evenly coated.
Once applied, wait 20 seconds for the bond to go tacky.
DoL Tip: Want to create a bolder look? To add a little extra drama and ensure a stronger hold, just apply the ‘bond’ adhesive slightly further up your natural lashes.
Step 2 – Map them out
Whichever style you choose, all of our eyelash cluster sets include multiple lengths – ranging from 8mm to 16mm. Meaning it’s super easy to map out a unique lash style.
Carefully pick up your first cluster – from its tip rather than its base – using the lash applicator.
Starting at the outer corner of the eye, position the cluster beneath your natural lashes, leaving a small space between the cluster’s band and your lash line. Then gently lift the cluster against the root of your natural lashes, moving it in an upward and outward direction.
Once you’re happy it’s secure, move on to the next cluster and repeat the process.
Step 3 – Secure them in place

The next step is to make sure they won’t budge.
Our DIY cluster lashes are fully shower-proof, designed to be slept in, and will stay put for 7+ days if applied correctly.
Once they’ve settled into place, simply use a lash applicator to squeeze the clusters and your natural lashes firmly together – and ensure you get that secure and seamless hold.
DoL Tip: Before you start clamping, remember to check your lash applicator for any leftover ‘bond’ residue. This can ruin your hard work, so it’s worth giving it a quick wipe first!
Step 4 – Seal the deal
Last but not least, add a very fine coat of ‘seal’.
There’s no need to brush or drag the 2in1 applicator through your lashes like you previously did with the ‘bond’. To remove any sticky residue from your adhesive and lock your lashes in place for a week (or more), just lightly dab the seal underneath the individual clusters.
Easy as that.
Ready for your weekly refresh?
Ultra lightweight and made to last, our cluster lashes can be worn for a week or more. But when they are ready for a little refresh, removing them is just as easy as putting them on.
Apply a generous coat of our Lemme Lash Gel Remover, brushing from root to tip. Leave the solution for approximately 30 seconds, gently rotating the wand against your lashes as it comfortably breaks down the bonds. Then simply remove each cluster.
If a cluster still appears to be attached, repeat the process.
DoL Tip: Lemme Lashes can be re-used up to three times, as long as you treat them right. To ensure a damage-free removal, try not to pull them off too quickly or harshly. Glide them slowly and gently away from the lash line, and always remember to pop them back in the box.
